    I worked at US Foods full-time for more than 10 years


    Numbers don't lie. They call it work for a reason. Lots of education on products.


    Lots of change in Corporate structure with more drastic change coming shortly. Always trying to reinvent the wheel which wasn't broken till upper mgt. said so. Again, numbers don't lie!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Good Luck and God Bless the people tossed away after years of undying loyalty. You should think more of them than your "golden parachute". It's obsene what you all take from the sweat of employees backs! Thank Goodness for Division Presidents to buffer employees from the top.

    Application Details

    I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks - interviewed at US Foods in May 2014.

    Interview Details

    I had two interviews- a general phone screening and an in-person interview. The questions were fairly standard on both interviews. During the in-person interview I had about 3-4 STAR based/behavioral questions (all of them were: "Tell me about a time when...") They also asked sub questions based on my answer; I suppose my answers were too vague although I thought I was pretty concise. The overall experience was pleasant; all interviewers were very cordial. I did not hear back from them until about 2 weeks later- to which I was not offered the position.

    • Tell me about a time when you had to negotiate a win-win situation. I couldn't think of a specific situation in a professional setting, so I stumbled on this question.   Answer Question
