I worked at UTi Worldwide full-time for more than a year

This company started like a START-UP. It has gone through a transition phase and getting matured .Every company go through the phase of confusion before they matured. This company did make some initial mistake and learn from it . They are on right path to success. Excellent pay , good culture, decent leadership.
This company did make a mistake of hiring bad developer / analyst who wanted to do just whining and gets frustrated for a small thing. They never contributed any thing for the company but created lot of negative perception . Now those employees are shown doors, UTi employees are more motivated and sharing the goal of success. Great career building opportunity. If you can do attitude and want to be successful in software / logistic industry, join UTi.

Agile is not fully adopted. Office culture is great but some time things get confusing because of fast changing priorities. Coordination across groups needs to be better managed. It is causing lot of frustration. Leadership needs to stick to their decision and let team deliver it . Manage the expectation of business

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do you have HR ? There presence is not felt. Hire good developer who wants to code rather than whine or be negative all the time . Clean up baggage by showing whiners the door . They are creating negative perception of the company. Have clear direction on process which needs to be followed. Revisit your architecture . Improve relationship across organization.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week - interviewed at UTi Worldwide.

    Interview Details

Mine was very disorganized. I talked to my soon to be supervisor for about 15 minutes. Then he abruptly excused himself and left the room to get some other guy. I talked to them for a bit longer. Then interviewer ended it with, "Well, we contact you in a few days. Let me walk you out."

    Negotiation Details
Nothing was negotiable. It was take it or leave it. The manager would of had to get approval to make any changes and he was not willing to do that.
