I have been working at Uniden full-time (More than a year)
The staff in the a Fort Worth office is great. All of us are hard working and innovative. Products are good but mostly in declining categories.
A major downsizing and outsourcing has recently occurred. 2 months ago there were 120 people in our office, with the move to the new offices next month there will probably be less than 40 people. Most of the remaining employees are probably looking for new jobs because they aren't sure if the company will be around this time next year. Uniden Japan management does not have a clue in what type of operations or company they want here in the USA in the future. This has caused moral to drop.
Advice to Management
Uniden Japan needs to decide the future of the company now and let the remaining employees know...just so we can all get on with our lives.
