    I worked at United Business Media full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    I felt this company valued a work/life balance and tried to include trainings to enhance a sense of community. I think that is more important than I realized as an actual employee. Divisions are run more like a small business and due to the nature of the work this is helpful.

    Cons

    There was a disconnect between executive staff and lower level employees...this made for unattainable goals on certain projects.

    I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at United Business Media in May 2011.

    Interview Details

    2 rounds of interviews and very friendly. Head of department and head of multimedia team conducted the interview. Straight forward questions. Since I actually applied for another position, they recommended the multimedia job for me, asked my experiences and it went quite well.
