    United Van Lines/Mayflower Transit usually hire summer help due to June, July, Aug being considered the "peak" season for the industry.

    Typical requirements are no felonies, reliable transportation to get to work or meet drivers, ability to lift heavy items, and ability to travel. No set hrs typically. 7 or 8 am start until the job is completed.

    hourly rate varies from agent to agent but 12 an hour is pretty industry standard.
