Contributing towards excellent healthcare, and meeting professional patient needs were most essential and rewarding to me! Was highly appreciated by the patients, providers, and administrators.

The pay, and room for career advancement was minimal at Unity. Considering, the abundance of work that is required of each MA, they should consider giving greater salaries to non-management employees, verses giving huge salaries and bonuses to directors and upper management. This is primarily why there's a great turnover at all Unity locations. Poor salaries. Overworked and underpaid!

    Advice to Management

Raise the salaries of your well-experienced MA's, in an effort to minimize turnovers. This is highly important, because the MA's are the backbone to the providers and overall daily functioning of the clinics at Unity. Unity's MA training is great and very extensive. Therefore, I strongly feel that you'll should really consider giving better salaries, to avoid losing staff after investing in their mandatory training.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Unity Health Care (Washington, DC) in March 2015.

it wasn't bad, were the basic situational/behavioral interview questions, I left the interview feeling very confident that I got the job, the hiring manager made me feel like I wanted to start immediately and then I went back to meet with the group who also made me feel comfortable. have been there for a few months now and still learning the ropes.
