I have been working at University of Akron

The staff is very enjoyable, always keeping a positive attitude. They work with your class schedule to make sure you are keeping up with your grades.

It is temporary, do not use this as a career builder. You can not work at the University forever.

There isn't an interview process, per se. I did have to write a letter to the department head about why I thought I deserved the assistantship position. The letter had to be one page, typed. The decision on who to give the assistantship to is based on a combination of GPA and the written letter.

    Interview Questions
    • As stated above, there is not an interview process. The only question asked was to write a letter detailing why I deserved the position.   Answer Question

It offers more than 200 undergraduate majors and 100 master's degree programs, as well as certificate and associate degree programs, through about ten schools and colleges. The university also operates the Medina County University Center; Wayne College, a branch of the university; and Summit College, a community college and technical school. The University of Akron...
