    I worked at University of Colorado full-time (more than 10 years)


    Good pay, but great benefits. Best retirement plan as an employee of the state of Colorado. Challenging, and yet interesting. Once people start here, they tend to stay for a very long time.


    You tend to stagnate in the same role due to budget constraints, even though you generally will get pay raises every year, except when times are tough, such as during the recession. Sometimes there's crunch time, but generally overtime is not expected.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Reviews come from the top down. There ought to be a way for employees to review managers as well.
