I worked at University of NSW as a contractor (more than an year)Pros
Great flexibility for workplace arrangements. This offers very good work life balance.
You will be the king of your work which means no micro-management. You are free to think and apply creatively in your work as long as you are held responsible for what you do.
Close-net campus gives an opportunity to know most of the people. Helps to build relationships
You can get to work with some of the best in the field
Staff are very approachable and helpful
Good state-of-the-art facilities in some of the departments and a fantastic library.Cons
Some professors seem to take research students for a ride for personal benefits and the University doesn't seem to care much about the well-being of the students. Always tries to protect the staff when grievances are heard from students.
No industry collaboration
Casual employees are not treated fairly, the same as permanent employees.
Some administration staff are inefficient. You need to visit quite a few times for your work to get done.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Treat all employess fairly
Look into the grievances of students, especially when they are affected due to professor's actions.RecommendsNeutral Outlook

I went to HK for HK PwC tax department interview. The interviewer was the HR officer who is a friendly and outgoing girl like my age.The whole interview was very enjoyable as she was very talktive and approachable. She asked me questions like : why did you choose Hk , why tax, what salary are you expecting, she also focused on my academic performance , and she likes to probing rather than asking simply questions. She also asked me a bit about my previous working experiences and long term career path. Finally she asked me whether i have questions for her.Interview Questions
