I have been working at University of Nevada Las Vegas full-time (more than 5 years)RecommendsPositive OutlookRecommendsPositive Outlook
Relaxed work environment, friendly co-workers, healthy campus atmosphere. I enjoy the fact that work schedules are flexible, there are plenty of food options, and a gym on campus with a reasonable monthly fee.
The biggest downside is the parking. Parking is poorly organized and way overpriced. The nearby airport is also a nuisance, with planes flying overhead every few minutes.
Advice to Management
Plan major construction and renovation projects to coincide with low volume traffic times e.g. summer and winter breaks versus mid-semester. For special events, do not take away student parking and force students to park so far away and allow guests to have premium parking, it is not fair to paying individuals, especially considering the parking permit fee. If individuals want to attend those events, they can walk too.

I had Skype Interview followed by campus interview. They all were friendly and ask some questions related to the job posting. Basically, they wanted to know who you are and your primary strengths and weakness related to teaching, research, and service while interviewing.
