I have been working at University of Richmond full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Collegial staff, flexible work environment and schedule, great benefits as far as colleges and universities go. Opportunity for continued education.

    Cons

No/minimal training or development programs. No clear advancement opportunities for staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be in touch with the market for attracting and retaining talent. Create paths for young and mid-level employees. Improve transparency in decision making. Provide credits for continuing education outside of the organization.
