I have been working at University of Richmond full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

flexible, great coworkers, compensation, understanding environment, room for advancement, departments work together, high ranked departments compared to national standards

    Cons

some outdated practices, dependence on the board of trustees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The school is too at the whim of the board of trustees. Everyone tiptoes around not offending them. The school should be serving the needs of the students as their needs advance and progress, not defending upper-class old white male ideologies about what is important for college students
