I have been working at University of South Dakota as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

It lowers your tuition, it provides you with experience as a researcher, and it will give you an opportunity to learn so much about the research process.

    Cons

There are few cons to working at USD. The only one I can think of is that the department doesn't have a crazy amount of money, so the lab equipment isn't always brand new.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Instead of putting money into new statues around campus, try to help the graduate programs that can't afford new equipment.
