I have been working at University of Southern California (More than 10 years)

Everyone gets along well and helps each other. Chair and manager are easy to talk to. Each employee is under little supervision and the hours are flexible.

Better communication from upper management is needed. Simple things like introducing a new staff member to the department would be nice. No major concerns.

    Advice to Management

Listen to staff and actually do something about what ever issue is being brought up instead of just leaving it unresolved.

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA).

I applied online, and then a few days later, was emailed to come in for an interview. It was surprisingly informal, and at the end the manager asked when I could start.
