I worked at University of Warwick

University of Warwick provides jobs for undergraduate or postgraduate students through an agency called Unitemps. The idea is great because the university can provide, IT, marketing, finance and many other work experience for students. I consider it a safe working environment that helps students prepare and launch themselves on the job market.
I worked for the Scarman House and I have only good things to say about them. The management was very understandable, supportive and nice. The pay is slightly higher because the university knows how much the students pay for going to school so they pay more, even being a barista at Starbucks.

There are a lot of applicants and sometimes takes time to get an answer to an application or interview.

Lack of transparency in interview requirements. Deliberately difficult questions to trick interviewee. Received offer by phone same day. Asked the chair to meet again. Chair said they were busy cleaning up after the interviews.
