I have been working at VML full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

VML is an aggressive competitor in the industry but does not have an aggressive atmosphere internally. VML has a collaborative leadership team with a good culture that cares about the people and the communities where each office is located. There is always a chance to learn something new and continue to grow in your career. VML also continues grow opportunities with great brands in and out of the US.

    Cons

It is pro that VML is very busy but it can lead to a less than desirable work/life balance for some. This is usually not at the insistence of the company leadership but team collaboration, winning business and a growing company does mean more work.

    Associate Art Director Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate  in  Kansas City, MO

    Application Details

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks - interviewed at VML in May 2014.

    Interview Details

The interview process was very professional, HR emailed me schedules weeks before the actual interview actually took place.

I interviewed with HR first, which was just standard benifit info along with general overview of the company.

Next I interviewed with the Creative Director on the account I was applying for- Looked at my book, then we looked at his.

Next I interviewed with both ECDs and they were less concerned about my book, and more concerned with my person and who I was.

    Over all very proffessional.
