I have been working at Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

VHB has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and "can do" atmosphere. VHB is a well balanced mixture of civil engineers, environmental and water resources scientists, planners and landscape architects. VHB highly values project managers and technically oriented engineers equally.

    Cons

Project managers work hard to bring work and the workload can be daunting at times, but fellow workers step up to share the load.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the civil engineering core of the company central to the mission.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2+ monthsinterviewed at Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc in September 2013.

    Interview Details

Very easy to navigate through, HR was very pleasant. I phone interviewed first with folks from FL, then since I was in St. Petersburg, FL visiting family I met with the hiring manager and a co-worker. After that, I was flown for an interview in Watertown, MA where I interviewed with about 6 people, some of the interviews were 1-on-1, and some of them there were 2 people in talking with me at one time.
