    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Vectren (More than 8 years)

Good salary, good benefits. Good customer focus.

Directorial level management team not educated in modern Business Admin field. Non-existent sick leave policy. Unrealistic expectations of customer service specialist call handling time. Discriminatory behavior of management toward LGBT community. Low employee satisfaction ratings.

    Advice to Management

Hire Educated management professionals to replace multiple Director level employees whose retention and advancement are based on "good old boy club" membership and behavior.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vectren (Danville, IN) in October 2014.

I met an HR rep at Purdue's career fair. I applied online and received a call a couple of weeks later to set up an on-site interview. It was an easy and basic interview. They asked about previous utility experience and behavioral questions.
