I worked at Vestas Wind Systems full-time
Great benefits working for a Scandinavian Company. Nice work life balance with flexible working schedules. With any large company, managerial professionalism varied across the organization. but I felt fortunate to have such great leadership.
Limited ability to move up within departments. Large organization that doesn't move very fast with strategic initiatives, likely due to the rapid growth they had in the mid 2000's which they're still catching up with. The term "Vestas Busy" is very prevalent across the organization.
Advice to Management
Focus more on cross organizational message consistency; What was heard in one business unit was often elaborately different within another.

At the same time, a supervisor would ask each person a few standard interview questions. Each group rotated through every task and spoke with all of the supervisors present. I was called later that evening and told that I was on the priority list for hiring and given a formal one-on-one interview.
