I worked at Veterans United Home Loans part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly people, positive work environment and lots of access to resources including professional development. They emphasize a healthy work/life balance and are always encouraging staff to live according to company values.

    Cons

There really aren't any major cons, but I will say inter-departmental communication isn't the best, I think it's something they are constantly trying to improve.

    Advice to Management

Keep communicating, keep encouraging, keep the positivity. This is a great company to work for so I think just make sure the company values stay priority as the company grows.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Veterans United Home Loans (Columbia, MO).

    Interview

Only 2 days between app submission and interview. In between took skills, personality, IQ, typing tests. HR office and staff were very welcoming. Greeted by receptionist and whiteboard with my name on it, offered water and games to kill a few minutes. Interviewed by head of HR. Started very casual, slowly introduced typical interview questions into the mix. Really it was a back and forth conversation, as it should be, but the interviewer took lots of notes and was obviously intelligent enough to learn a lot about me. Left plenty of time at the end for additional questions of mine. Found out the next day I wasn't moving on, but was told during the interview to expect this (they had already moved onto 2nd interviews by the time I applied).
