I loved working for VACU but they need to hire better managers.

    Pros

Growth opportunities, skill development, not Downtown so no parking issues,

    Cons

Managers are not maintained and held liable. No one monitors the managers. The employees should have the opportunity to give feedback on their managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be an opportunity for the employees to provide feedback on the Managers.

    Application Details

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Virginia Credit Union League in November 2010.

    Interview Details

Contacted by a recruiter first. The recruiter was working for CUNA, the financial services arm of Virginia Credit Union. From there I interviewed with a sales manager from CUNA. Last stage was an interview with two sales managers from Virginia Credit Union. If you are interviewing for this position, be prepared that the CUNA view on things is different than that of the Credit Union sales managers. The Credit Union guys are not at all qualified to manage anyone. Ethics are a major concern with this company.
