A fun, collaborative company to work for. There is plenty of opportunity to create innovate strategies to increase customer loyalty. Management is extremely supportive and encouraging.
Marketing is an as needed basis. I loved what I was doing for them as far as promoting Vita Coco on a college campus. However, they terminated the program across the country due to the increase in sales in the target market.

I applied online. The process took 3 days – interviewed at Vita Coco (Chelsea, NY) in January 2013.
Interviewed for the position 3 times. The first time was an over the phone interview where I was asked all the regular questions (past experience, strengths, weaknesses, etc.). I received a call back to interview in their offices with their marketing team - a total of 4 people - at individual times. The team consisted of the person who already interviewed me over to the phone and was only doing it again out of protocol, two higher ups who would rather be elsewhere, and one other person (who genuinely seemed to care). However, because I was waiting around for these people to become available, my interview took a little over two hours long. I then had another phone interview with a new hire overseas. I was told I would get a response at the end of the week, I gave it a full 7 days before I reached out. It's going on two months since I've interviewed and I've yet to hear back.....
