    Pros

I work as an underwriter for this company. Here is a snap shot of the good things: Above average industry pay; flexible work hours; room for growth; management considers ideas you have to improve the workflow/company

    Cons

A fair amount of "dead weight" in the company--this is mainly because the company offers good perks so no one leaves. Most, if not all, managers are males; corporate culture & vision some times differ from managers

    Advice to Management

Offer bonuses to reward the hard workers

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at W. R. Berkley (Greenwich, CT).

    Interview

Hiring manager was friendly on the phone and in person and didn't really ask anything difficult. Met with about 6 people, one of whom was enthusiastic about his position and what he did and was very helpful. I was told this position had been open a long time and it looks like it's still open, even now. Slightly dubious.
