I worked at WPP Group full-time (more than 3 years)

The most collegial place I've worked in terms of people. Everyone was very professional and cordial, even under pressing deadlines. They even had an "alumni get together" for former employees which reveals a bit about the culture.

Sometimes long hours and weekends for pitches.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep true to your specialty, which has been pharma.
If you want to grow beyond that, changing the official name to Wunderman DC wouldn't hurt.

    Application Details

I applied through college or university – interviewed at WPP Group in October 2013.

    Interview Details

Full day interview at JWT in NY. Met with four executives from various agencies around the country.

The interview experience was great. The opportunity to sit down with these brilliant ad professionals and just talk shop was amazing. Questions ranged from industry thoughts and predictions, to thoughts on specific brands, to future goals and aspirations. The experience was not like MBA interviews client side. Not a single interviewer asked about my experience before the MBA program.
