Fair and pleasant atmosphere; dedicated to helping people achieve their best, and work through their worst.

I have been working at WSIB full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    * Location. The main office is very close to Union Station and easy to get to.
    * Variety. There are a number of jobs available here.
    * Atmosphere. Constant communication between team-mates and staff, generally laid-back sentiment

    Cons

    * Learning curve. This is a company where you learn as you go, and if you make mistakes then the onus is on you rather than it being the result of erratic training.
    * Manager-to-manager communication. If an issue is raised or reported to one manager regarding a job, it will not be reported to any other manager overseeing that department until that other manager is, themselves, confronted.

    Interview Details

The whole process took 8 months. The interview process consists of 4 stages.
I did not get a good read from the interviewers.

    Interview Questions
    • The essay question was very straightforward, but frankly I was confused as to why WSIB would want an essay that was a regurgitation of what is on their website.   View Answers (2)
