I have been working at WTAS as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

The internship at WTAS has gone better than any intern could have expected. The office is young, and there is always something going on: happy hours, giants games, world cup celebrations, chili cook-offs, and the list goes on. In addition to a great office culture and fun events, the pay is great!

    Cons

I guess the only con I see is work-life balance. But, it really does come with the profession and with a firm that provides nightly dinners and casual dress during busy season WTAS keeps their employees happy.

    Tax Associate Interview

    Application Details

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at WTAS.

    Interview Details

The interview process started with OCI. WTAS sent an alumni to my school to interview a few students. He was exceptionally friendly and easy to talk to. After going through preliminary questions about my interest in tax, the rest of the interview was just a relaxed conversation. About three days later, I received a callback. Most of the interviewers were really friendly. The exception was the HR interviewer who had no idea which job I was interviewing for. These interviews were more about fit with the company than about substantive tax knowledge. However, you should be able to discuss why you want to work in tax.
