Walmart Canada was established in 1994 with the acquisition of the Woolco chain. Over the past 18 years, Walmart Canada has more than doubled the number of stores in Canada and more than tripled the number of associates, creating a strong, stable retail chain which offers career opportunities.

With headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario, Walmart Canada now operates a growing network of more than 370 stores, including traditional discount stores, supercentres and an environmental demonstration store in Burlington, Ontario. With nearly 90,000 associates the company is one of Canada's largest employers.     I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at WalMart Canada (Ontario, CA) in June 2012.


    Initial phone review- 15 minutes Call back within a few days to plan the first person review during this process you are set up in a 'speed date" situation where you are asked multiple questions by multiple other walmart employees with different positions. Next from here you are told whether or not you are right for walmart and brought on to a second interview to where you would accept or deny their proposition for you and from there they gather references for you.
