Great work environment. Very flexible work schedule. You can take days off regularly or work from home very often. Everyone there is very helpful and supportive of what you do.

There aren't a lot of cons in this business. I would say that the only one can be looked as a pro as well. The Watchguard tech support floor is in a sense a farm system. You get there with certain skills and when you leave after a year or two (you will likely leave promotion is not likely) your skills will have grown a ton. With this on your resume you can go somewhere else.

I applied online. The process took a weekinterviewed at WatchGuard Technologies.

    Interview Details

I received a call for an interview which was said to take about 2 hours. When I arrived they told me I would perform a technical interview for 1 hour and then a personal interview the second hour if I passed the technical interview. The questions were pretty simple - DNS, OSI Model, TCP/IP, VPN, Default Gateway, MAC.

    Interview Questions
    • I did fine on the technical questions. The personal interview questions were typical questions which I'm not very good at.

      - What are 3 weaknesses you have?

      - Give us an example of how you are a team player.
