I have been working at Welch Allyn full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Relaxed workplace, busy but not hectic. Extra effort is recognized. Nice building, nice area, and the parties and after-work activities are great.

    Cons

Sometimes work is slow and you get moved around a lot. Everyone is very risk-averse, so it's hard to make progress or improvements.

    Advice to Management

Build a system that embraces risk-taking. New products can cost a lot especially when they won't necessarily succeed, but agility with risky projects will help get at least a few breakthroughs.
