Wesdome Gold Mines tries to find out where the gold flows. The company produces about 75,000 ounces of gold a year from its gold properties in Wawa, Ontario and Val d'Or, Quebec. The company also has a controlling stake in Moss Lake Gold Mines (in Ontario), which has reserves of about 1.5 million ounces of gold. The ore produced by Wesdome Gold is processed at the company's mill located in the center of the Mishi-Magnacon property. Western Québec Mines had owned a 38% stake in the company, but the two companies merged in 2007, with Wesdome the surviving company.
