We know you have a choice in your career. We want you to choose us.

SUPERIOR SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS

Founded in 1900, we are today one of the world's largest forest products companies. We operate in 11 countries and employ 12,800 people in four core businesses that are focused on growing and harvesting trees, building homes and making a range of forest products essential to everyday lives.

TIMBERLANDS

The trees that grow on our timberlands form the core of our company. We're experts in growing, nurturing, harvesting and replanting them to meet important human needs, without harming the environment or exhausting the supply. This is a team of world-class professionals who understand how to make the most out of our remarkable, renewable resource to maximize benefit for all our stakeholders in perpetuity.

WOOD PRODUCTS

Serving the residential, multi-family and light commercial markets, our Wood Products team manufactures an innovative collection of proven structural framing materials and provides seamless building solutions, from design to installation to support. This team moves fast, works smart and never stops pushing to be and stay number one in the industry.

CELLULOSE FIBERS

Our customers are expanding all over the globe, and we’re growing with them. We’re a leader in manufacturing fluff pulp for absorbent products, but that’s not all. We also seek new and innovative markets for using cellulose fibers in unique and unexpected ways, such as textiles and plastics. This team operates with excellence while pushing for creative solutions to meet tomorrow’s needs.

SUPPORT FUNCTIONS

Strategic partnerships with our skilled administrative and support teams helps our businesses excel in a swiftly changing world. From information technology and finance to human resources, law and marketing, we’re looking for motivated professionals who offer proactive solutions and ideas. Our success depends on collaborative teams working together to achieve results.

JOB SATISFACTION MATTERS

We know people work for different reasons. What matters most to one person may not matter at all to someone else. Our goal is to create a thriving work environment where all our people experience growth, feel valued for the contributions they make, and get rewarded for helping us achieve our vision.

EMBRACING DIVERSE THINKING

We believe the best ideas come from motivated and engaged employees who bring the full breadth of their experience, passion and creativity to work each day. That’s why we strive to create an inclusive, performance-driven culture that attracts and retains a wide variety of talented people.

IT’S NOT JUST TALK

Our commitment to diversity and inclusion comes to life through a number of companywide programs and policies, which include:

  • Strategic Diversity Framework: A guide for leaders to measure progress against specific goals and targets.
  • Annual Goal Setting: A process to ensure we are actively recruiting, hiring and promoting a diverse workforce.
  • Inclusion Training for Leaders:Training that emphasizes leadership accountability for role modeling inclusive behaviors.
  • Business Diversity Networks:Employee-led groups for sharing experiences, gaining exposure to other businesses, acquiring mentors, partnering across networks, and providing feedback to company leaders.
  • Anti-Discrimination Tools and Programs:Resources available to help leaders create an inclusive, respectful and productive work environment.
  • Anti-Harassment Policy:Policy and means for employees who believe they are being harassed or subjected to inappropriate workplace conduct.
  • Human Rights Policy:Guided by the UN’s Declaration of Human Rights, it includes the company’s values, policies on employee relations, ethics, health and safety risk management, and the environment.

SEE WHAT LEADERS AND EMPLOYEES SAY

A TREE WON'T LAST FOREVER, BUT A FOREST CAN

We plant trees. As they grow, we use time-tested techniques to ensure they become strong, straight and healthy. Once harvested, we use trees to meet important human needs, such as lumber for shelter and pulp for personal hygiene. We also invent ways to use them in products you might not expect, like fabric, plastics and energy.

We think trees are remarkable. Even more amazing are the forests where they grow — a renewable, sustainable resource with limitless potential, not just for today, but for generations to come.

Our Sustainability Strategy

We understand the bar keeps rising for what it means to be a sustainable company, so we set short- and long-term goals in three critical areas — performance, people and planet — and share our progress annually in the sustainability section of our website.

All our stakeholders expect us to achieve short-term results without compromising long-term prosperity, which is something we know a lot about. After all, we’ve been growing our company for more than 100 years. Our track record speaks for itself.

I have been working at Weyerhaeuser full-time

    Pros

I know I would be great at this job because I've done everything they describe in their requirements for so many years.

    Cons

Probably just getting acclimated to a new environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't miss out on this guy. I have the knowledge, experience, and leadership skills to perform this position at a very high level. I also am self motivated. So I need very little direction. Outstanding communication skills. I never miss work. Follow PTA policies as required.

    Interview Details

Received a message requesting an interview after I applied for a role. Replied to the message multiple times in an attempt to schedule an interview, but the contact never responded. Later received a generic email stating I wouldn't be considered for the role. Will not be applying for positions at Weyerhaeuser in the future.
