    Pros

Great atmosphere, great resources! It is a small enough community that a good amount of science exchange can happen among the labs.

    Cons

Not really any except that it is in cold Boston

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research (Cambridge, MA) in April 2009.

    Interview

I did not have an interview at Whitehead, but they are all very typical for postdocs in academia. You give a talk about previous research, you meet with prospective principal investigator, and with each member of the lab. You might have a second meeting with the principal investigator, and maybe taken out for dinner.
