I worked at Whiting Petroleum for over two years as an intern and heard how great the benefits were from several different employees. Insurance was so great that your total out-of-pocket expense for having a baby was only around $700 for everything. Bonuses were awesome for full-time employees. It wasn't unheard of for people to get 1/3rd to 1/2 of their annual salary and a bonus at the end of the year. The working atmosphere was great as well. When working there it felt like you were working with family; a family that got along well.
No major cons come to mind. It was a great place to work and was full of great people.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days – interviewed at Whiting Petroleum (Denver, CO) in March 2015.
Very brief interview, they basically just wanted to know that I wasn't a complete total idiot who would mess things up. Other than that the interview process was very very very very very very easy
