    I worked at Wimba full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Lots of engineers with the right attitude and a real chance to improve online education. Product managers are committed and talented.

    Cons

    Often spent time dealing with drama from political foes. Design of software was very top down. Company kept pinning hope on new employees who either weren't enough to get the company to change its inertia by themselves or sweet talked their way into high level positions and then ran amok.

    Watch out for bad actors among the employees.
