Work isn’t all about the grind—not all the time.

Sure, by definition, work is an activity in which one exerts strength or faculties (physical or mental effort) to do or perform something. Thank you, Merriam-Webster dictionary. But, what that definition doesn’t explain is that work can’t be done thoroughly and to its greatest capacity unless you break it up… make it fun… laugh a little… breathe.

WINation is good at finding ways to break up the heaviness of a hard work day. The technical term for it is called “having fun at work” but we just call it keeping it real. Whether that means laughing at a funny animal video during our break or sharing candy with coworkers at that 3pm lull… we know how to make each other smile.

Take a look at the video to catch a glimpse of how we roll… WINation style. Hope to see you on the other side!

Former Employee - Tier I Technician in Fairport, NY

I worked at Windstream full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

decent benefits, incentives, close nit department. I was with Windstream for Over 1 year, although it was challenging at times, everyone had your back and helped lift you up. Windstream is employee engaged and does their best to help everyone they can. Alex Levi - is such a pleasure to work for!

    Cons

Although I found Windstream to have a positive atmosphere, management tends to gossip about former employees as well as some current employees, when they should not be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

be conscious of the negative affect it could have on your employees when gossiping about them in the work place where it is easily heard. Other than that, keep up the great work!
