I worked at Women & Infants Hospital full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Women and Infants is a very wonderful company, which I think is very committed to providing the best possible service to their patients and the scientific community. I really liked my coworkers there, everyone was very friendly, committed, and positive. The work was stimulating and I felt like I was contributing. Also, the benefits are outstanding, good insurance and a huge amount of paid time off right from the start!

    Cons

I sometimes felt like there was a lot of pressure to go "above and beyond" the job description, and even what the patients wanted (calling on weekends and evenings to follow-up). Also the pay is manageable, but not great.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I do wish their were less pressure, as described in the cons.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks - interviewed at Women & Infants Hospital in December 2010.

    Interview Details

I applied to the position online, but I was already volunteering at this location so that was probably taken into account when they decided to interview me. I was called by the project manager to schedule an on-site interview. At the interview, I was interviewed by the three leads of the project. The questions weren't technical at all, just generally about my work experience, work style, and how I would deal with certain situations.
