    I worked at Woodmoor Group (less than a year)


    Woodmoor Group has a lot of earning potential for the right person who recognizes a great industry for recruiting. Many of the top performing recruiters make $150-$200K or more a year. For those who are disciplined, motivated and hardworking, and also have a entrepreneurial spirit, this can be a great opportunity if they are willing to make enough phone calls (250+ a week) and being strategic in the right industry.


    If you can't manage yourself, get and stay motivated, or ask the necessary questions from prospective clients and job candidates, this is not the job for you. Also, if you can't handle rejection over the phone, or it bothers you that you may only talk to someone on 3-5% of your calls (with no promises you will make a deal in those calls), you'll have a hard time succeeding at Woodmoor. Also, you have to be self-reliant as you may only be able to get limited help and mentoring. Lastly, making the right pick of an industry to enter as a recruiter is also critical - many recruiters have dropped out because they didn't make the right pick, and even some of the successful recruiters at Woodmoor made a move to another industry in the first year on the job because they didn't succeed with their first selections.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    The training program and mentoring for new recruiters was less than promised when I started working there. I hope that changes will be made as promised for the success of the company.
