    Small enough to know tons of people, but but enough to not know everyone. They have a diverse student population so working there is a diverse experience. The administration is very supportive and fair.


    It is difficult for a school district to not be associated with a city, which can make passing levies problematic and thus puts job security at risk. The buildings are old except for the middle school, which makes technology integration a challenge.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Woodridge School District 68 (Peninsula, OH) in November 2009.


    The process started with submitting my resume via email to the Technology Director. I had a phone interview with the Director and he said he would email me. This added me into the pool of potential candidates. The Director then emailed me a list of questions that I had to formulate responses for and email back by the end of the day. From this list, he would choose who to interview. First interview was a panel of 4 people. Second interview was just the Tech Director and I. Final interview was with the Superintendent. A VERY hard interview process.

    • Final interview with Technology Director and Superintendent, the Superintendent points to the Director and asks me, "Do you want his job?"   1 Answer


    I asked to be started with 8 years experience and increase my base pay. They agreed which moved me up 5k to start.
