    Pros

    They have a pretty high quality of coworkers in this company. There will always be personalities, but for the most part, when there's something to be done, people will buckle down and do it. They don't try to pass you around. The top level of management has meetings several times a year to discuss overall company direction and discuss/praise specific concerns and accomplishments.

    Cons

    They only have High Deductible health care plans. If you prefer HMO/PPO type health care options, they don't have any. If your spouse/domestic partner has the option of receiving health care (no matter how bad it might be), you can not cover them under 'family'.

    Advice to Management

    Don't let HR shoehorn you into a position where you lose people due to lack of support. If you let them force you into supporting a position detrimental to the employee, push it up the chain till it gets dealt with and make sure the employee knows you're doing it. Don't let it stall because of one road block or disinterested person's attitude.

    I applied online – interviewed at XO Communications.

    Interview

    I first had a phone interview with the hiring manager that lasted 30 minutes. I made it to the second interview. I received an email for an interview at 8pm at night. The interview was for 10am the next morning. The interview lasted 2 hours. I interviewed with 2 employees for about an hour and a half then I had an interview with the manager. No one from HR or XO bothered to call me afterwards to provide any feed back. Nothing, never knew if I got the job or not, never even RECIEVED an email thanking me for interviewing. Extremely inconsiderate.
