I worked at Yale University part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits, pay is solid relative to work/life balance, opportunity to take classes, great culture of energy and intellectual stimulation

    Cons

Opportunities to become senior management are limited but mobility is good elsewhere. New Haven is a small city though has most of what you need

Once you get an interview it's fairly simple. You will be interviewing with another 40 students so just make sure not too stand out negatively. Prepare for meeting with individual Professors by knowing about their research and be able to talk about your own research and experiences.
