The employees I worked with were phenomenal! I wasn't convinced I would enjoy the position my first day but I gave it time and I worked to become better. After 2 weeks, I enjoyed my job and the challenge of selling products to customers on commission. The GM and the Sales manager are two of the best guys I know. If you are confident in talking to people and like the idea of an opportunity to learn a great deal about sales(or are younger and looking for a job that pays pretty well with a great work environment) I highly suggest giving the HHGREGG in Terre Haute a try.
I loved the store in Terre Haute but outside of Terre Haute I would advise anyone who applies to ask questions during the interview and early into the job (should you accept) to make sure the people you work with have good character. I moved from Terre Haute and was highly dissappointed to not be transferred due to what was called a miscommunication between myself and the regional manager. No grudges, but a lack of integrity in higher positions in the corporation towards lower level employees is something I would like to see changed in the future. When you say something, follow through with it.
Advice to Management
Local management was great, I'm thankful for the opportunity. Like I mentioned earlier, if you see an opening in Terre Haute, take advantage of it. Great local management and an excellent opportunity to grow in your own business career.
