The benefits are good, the office environment is relaxed, there are lots of good people working hard at iBasis.

Pay is stagnant and promotions are rare. More importantly the focus of the business is very short term, which would be fine if the market was expanding, but it is slowing down. As a consequence we are working harder to achieve the same results year after year. KPN has no plans to invest in the long-term growth of iBasis, so we are just cutting things left and right and it is starting to hurt moral.

    Interview Details

It was like 6 people interviewed and among them 5 rounds are technical and one is hr. The uncertainty is that they won't ask you the questions that are in job requirements. One technical round is very informal and impolite.
