    Negative Outlook

I have been working at tw telecom full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Prior to merger with Level 3, TW was a great place to work. Now we are seeing how a place that just does M&A over and over falls into complete disarray over time.

    Cons

After the merger things have gone rapidly down hill. Being merged with a place that grows via M&A really sucks for people that came from a place of mostly organic growth.

    Advice to Management

When you sell us out for the "greater" good pass out some of that money you pocket so we can all drink our sorrows away. Or just don't sell.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at tw telecom (Littleton, CO).

    Interview

Be prepared, if you are up against an internal candidate you probably won't get the job regardless of your qualifications or how well you interview. I have had 4 interviews and each time made it to the final 2 but the inernal person got the position. I have personally been told that I was a better fit but it was "political." Hopefully Level3 will do a better job and take external candidates seriously.
