    Pros

Pros? Don't think I can name any.

    Cons

They make you learn stuff like you are a robot and give you tons of job responsibilities...like you are making decent money.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ether pay better or stop expecting so much from employees.

    I worked at 1-800-Radiator

    Pros

Everyone for the most part started out at entry level. So they've all been there in a sense. Always someone willing to help, co-workers for the most part are great people.

    Cons

Not enough pay, long hours, weekends, some customers on the phone aren't the nicest people in the world.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Wages need to be adjusted.

I have been working at 1-800-Radiator part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Good products, service and reputation

    Cons

Convoluted pay plan. Mostly negative incentive. That is you lose income for not making quota but gain nothing for over performing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Re-think incentives

I have been working at 1-800-Radiator

    Pros

Good resume fodder if you want experience in warehouse management, inside/outside sales, and auto parts troubleshooting. You can learn a lot about the automotive industry if you keep your eyes and ears open.

    Cons

Franchise owner seemed stressed all the time from local competition, 1-800-Radiator's Corporate agenda and low profit margins. This stress trickled down and created a difficult work environment. There was no moral or financial incentive to go "above and beyond" (other than personal pride).

Current Employee - Field Sales Representative

I have been working at 1-800-Radiator

    Pros

Work is done at the end of the day, dont have to think about it too much after you have gone home.

    Cons

WAY too much driving, maybe we just had a large territory compared to most but I drove over 20,000 miles last year just for work, over 40,000 when I include the commute and non work activities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dont just implement what you think is the best idea, actually listen to feedback from franchisees. Oftentimes individual areas dont fit the corp 'norm' of how things should operate.
