    Pros

The Company Core Values; The Diversity of people you get to interact everydat you go to work. A great place to learn and teach.

    Cons

Hourly Wage was low considering the current cost of living rate for the region; Our entire team was reduced to part-time hours as full-time employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

At bare minimum, Pay your Employees the current cost of living rate, their worth it!

    Pros

The management team is easy to talk to and always looking for employee opinions.
The members are passionate about the company and very friendly.
There are many opportunities to move up in the company.

    Cons

Can be a stressful environment when members become upset.
I've been at work when members have made threats against employees and began fights on the workout floor where Personal Trainers had to escort them out of the building. Must be open minded to work here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Do not micromanage.

    Pros

Member interaction is great. Lots of opportunity to move up (if you have someone who is willing to actually completely train you)

    Cons

Pay isn't great. Hardly opportunities to bonus. Every day is generally the same.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please understand that we get yelled at more than you do. So please go easy on us. We get yelled at all day long!

I worked at 24 Hour Fitness part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Free membership for self and spouse. Discounted personal training. Potentially a good place for college students to work.

    Cons

Very few hours--was lucky to get 15 hours in a week. Management was untrained and unprofessional. Shifts were typically 4 hours or less. Often worked a late evening shift followed by an early morning shift.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find better management and training for them.

    Pros

You get a membership for free, you get to know everyone in the gym, positive atmosphere.
