I have been working at 24 Seven Talent

Pros – I've been working at 24 Seven for 5 years now & haven't even updated my resume, because I'm that confident in 24 SEVEN! Not only do they foster growth, but the work environment is an enjoyable one! All of my colleagues are smart, driven & personable. There is also endless financial potential.

Cons – Hummm...that's a tough one. 24 Seven is always evolving, growing & learning. We're ahead of the curve & always breaking new ground. With that comes challenges being so innovative, but there isn't any huge con I can think of.

Advice to Senior Management – Check in a little more on us...see what's really going on, so you can learn from us too.

Pros – 24 Seven, Inc. is a fast growing, global brand within the staffing industry that caters to the hiring needs of top Fortune 500 Fashion, Retail and Beauty companies around the world. They are the leaders in the creative talent space, the biggest and the best, that's one of the reasons why I work for them. But, it's not the only reason. This is a company that encourages you to succeed and offers you the tools to stimulate and grow your business which is why I've stayed here for 10+ years. 24 Seven has the highest retention rate for employees compared to any other staffing company.

This is a women owned business that inspires new and existing employees to set goals, challenge themselves and work hard to achieve personal and financial growth. The greatest reward is the experience you get from helping clients find talent and candidates find jobs.

Cons – You may have to step out of your comfort zone at times to challenge yourself and reach your goals. It's not always an easy job, but if you want to challenge your mind, body and spirit for professional fulfillment, then this is a great place for anyone with ambition.

Advice to Senior Management – Keep providing learning tools, seminars and webinars to educate and stimulate professional growth.

Pros – The office is always buzzing with energy and its nice working in a very bright and motivating environment. The office is beautiful and in a great location! Management is always available for help in any situation,

Cons – Wtih sales its hard to create a team environment and sometimes it seems lost here. When starting off it's hard to get your clients and accounts and pressure seems to always be around the office.

Pros – Working at 24 Seven is like owning your own franchise. If you have the ambition, you can count on all kinds of corporate support to drive your business. The proprietary practices in place, honed over the last 13 years, coupled with an uncompromising professional ethos, create a nurturing, dynamic and success oriented culture.

This place is entrepreneurial at heart. There is always something brewing, new opportunities identified, new ideas to implement. There is also a prevailing sense of confidence.

Smart people do well at 24 Seven because the business model is predicated upon the collection, analysis and dissemination of data. You have to understand the connection between information and opportunity, how to make it work for you. As a recruiter or sales person, it comes down to the same thing.

The atmosphere is a casual, healthy mix of hard work and good fun, where common sense usually rules and laughter is ubiquitous.

Cons – As in any fast paced, high stakes environment, stress is rampant, especially when the job is nonstop, 7 days a week. Yes the company name is appropriate.

Advice to Senior Management – It would make sense for an enterprise like 24 Seven, which so robustly empowers women - candidates and employees alike - to formulate a post maternity leave work policy which allowed young mothers more options. Why can't dedicated new Mommies work from home a couple of days a week?

Pros – Amazing growth potential, supportive teams, beautiful office, great resources at our finger tips, great social media presence, amazing commission structure, and countless industry connections.

Cons – Competitive work environment… which could be good to keep you motivated but you also feel like you are constantly competing with your team members. Who had the most placements this week? Who billed the most? Who has the most new jobs? Some visitors think it’s strange to have the numbers posted up throughout the office.

Advice to Senior Management – Support all recruiters and administrative team so they stay with the company. Make sure all employees and placed candidates are being appropriately compensated for their hard work and dedication to the company. Continue to figure out ways to motivate the staff. Offer a competitive mark up and reward freelancers for good work.

Pros – The ability to try new and creative ways to reach out to the leaders with in the fashion and marketing industry. The support of good managers that stand behind your decisions, along with their guidance & direction. The overall company culture and those that are hired here continue to excel and keep the "family" vibe going year after year.

Cons – There is a lot of pressure to exceed goals and meets quotas. The job can be very inense at times but with everything good there comes some sacrafice.

Advice to Senior Management – The ability to grow gurther inthe career and within the company. It's a very "flat company" as far as titles and advancement are concerned; I feel this is something that should be addressed. More rewards for a job well done and focus on how to continue this motivation.

Pros – From the day I started at 24 Seven, I knew I'd landed my dream job and at a company I can truly respect. No workplace is perfect, so for reality's sake I won't paint it to be, but it is truly the only place I have worked where management continuously works to develop the team because they genuinely want us to succeed. There is also incredible potential for growth, and a strong team of management and resources in place to help make that growth a reality. The expectations for employee performance here are fairly high, but management has a keen eye for rising stars and top-performers, so the competition to meet and exceed those expectations is also high (but healthy). It definitely is a pleasure to come to work every day with colleagues who are just as motivated and energized as I am to take on new challenges!

Cons – Nothing notable, really - minor malades that are par for the course at any workplace.

I worked at 24 Seven Talent as a contractor for less than a year

Pros – Unlike their largest competitor, 24 Seven recruiters will actually get you work, rather than just aggregating your info for their database. The two recruiters I worked with stayed in touch well with opportunities, let me know when something needed updating in my resume/ portfolio, and got me placements with reasonable pay rates.

Cons – At the office I worked with, the timecard situation was kind of a mess. I think they had issue with their automated system, b/c they were often claiming to be missing hours from me or approvals from the companies that staffed me. I did eventually always get paid on time, but at least half the time it required extra legwork from me and my staffing HR manager. This was a nuisance, but their recruiters were good enough to keep me working w/ them. And this might only be a problem at that particular office, since I've only worked with one.

Advice to Senior Management – Support good recruiters so they stay with your company. Hire better people for your payroll, even if you have to pay more for them.

Pros – Working at 24 Seven has many Pros. Among them are a positive, supportive environment where your opinions & ideas are welcomed & encouraged. You are surrounded by intelligent, creative & ambitious colleagues who inspire you to grow personally & professionally on a daily basis. 24 Seven also does not have a glass ceiling so you can grow internally, relocate to other offices & therefore never feeling like your career is stagnating. From a cultural standpoint, long-lasting friendships are made here which can be uncommon in the workplace. 24 Seven believes in treating their employees with respect & by doing so has created the most positive of environments.

Cons – If there are any, I have yet to experience them
