  1. I got my sales career started here and don't regret it. When I was working there they had a great sales training.

    Pros

Selling using a consultative selling process to sell high end equipment, not low end product. Sales training at the time was great. Compensation plan was clear and not open to interpretation. Managers can make a good living if they sell fitness.

    Cons

Working odd hours is always going to be a con when working retail. Benefits were not the best when I was working there. Tony Enrico about drove the business into the ground but I hear that has been fixed. Not much upward mobility.

    Advice to Management

Work to get a better benefit package program. Bring back the consultative selling training. Bring back the awards, they go a lot further to motivate employees vs pay.

    Pros

Overall good people to work with. Opportunity to make good money and you are rewarded based off of the results you produce. Monthly bonuses can be significant if goals are met. Commission Based

    Cons

Work-life balance is extremely poor. Working 6-7 days a week with little to no time off, vacation, or paid vacation/holidays. Never feel like your away from your store or time to take a break for yourself. Commission based.

  3. Don't work for this company, they lie!

    Pros

They make the job sound too good to be true. Great pay for easy work.

    Cons

They make you feel like you always have to be at the store. Your told you'll work a 40 hr work week and end up with nearly 30 hours in the first 3 days. They fail to mention any of the requirements for working there and teach you to lie to the customers and trick them into buying more equipment then they need or want.

    Advice to Management

    Be truthful to the customer!

    Pros

Relaxed job, 40 hrs/week, provide help when needed, schedule can be modified if needed.

    Cons

No breaks, work weekends, low base pay, commission is based on people coming in, so if people come in you do not have a chance to make a commission check.

    Advice to Management

Change the commission pay from the net to an improvement.
