I have been working at 5W Public Relations full-time
Pros – Couldn’t imagine working anywhere other than 5W. The company moves quickly, allows staff to be involved in key decisions and has treated me great. Just finished my 4th year here and the company has changed so much (for the better) in the last few years and I can see why we keep growing. I come to work excited, have good clients and just an amazing atmosphere at work.
Cons – Cons: Professional training is good but I would like classes more than 1x a month. Also, free lunch 2x a month would be better every week.

I have been working at 5W Public Relations full-time for more than a year
Pros – I have worked at 5W for the last 2+ years and have thoroughly enjoyed and can see myself staying. Since starting here I have been promoted 2x and worked primarily on blue-chip accounts – although have had a few companies a little smaller than I like.
The company has grown from about 80 to over 100 people since I started. Media-heavy as we are expected to get regular media but its always fast paced and a great work environment.
Cons – Would have liked more face time with CEO. COO is very hands-on and runs the firm day to day but would have liked more time with CEO.

I worked at 5W Public Relations full-time for less than a year
Pros – Too few to list. Pay was OK, but not worth it.
Cons – Expectations are never communicated. CEO is a lunatic that yells at everyone. You're encouraged to bill as much as possible to the client (copies, messengers, etc). I was there for 6 months as a Sr. Account Exec. I saw a 35% client turnover in that time frame and about the same in employee turnover too. I have to believe all the great reviews here are written by the company and not real
Advice to Senior Management – Grow Up

I worked at 5W Public Relations
Pros – Working with 5WPR gives plenty of opportunities to learn and develop new skills as well as apply the acquired knowledge/abilities for personal and professional growth.
Cons – Schedule can get hectic at times but it’s the price of getting the opportunity to play a central role on multiple projects.
Advice to Senior Management – Be a little more choosy about the clients and give more responsibility to the interns.
