    Pros

flexible hours. The healthcare plan is very good. Friendly non-management co-workers

    Cons

Management only associates with other workers if you have a VP title or above.

    Advice to Management

Need leadership at the corporate level. That starts with the CEO.

    Pros

It's your typical 9-5 office job if you work in a home office, with a good mix or fast-paced and slow seasons. Leadership/management was a mess when I first started (3-4 years ago), but everything started coming together after the company got bought. Everyone now has specific, defined roles and are expected to perform them. Great atmosphere all around if you have the right people on your team.

    Cons

The company doesn't do a lot to stand out in terms of how they treat their employees. No bonuses, raises are few, and last-minute changes to whatever you're working on are often.

    Advice to Management

Wish hours were more flexible, but that's really with any corporation. Oh, and a (free) coffee machine would be nice.

    Pros

This company has some aggressive growth plans, which makes the potential exciting to consider. The team in the offices, the warehouse and the stores are all very dedicated and hard working. They are the heart of this company.

    Cons

This is not a great place to work if you are looking for work/life balance. Most everyone is expected to put in very long days, 6 days a week not uncommon. Meetings tend to be scheduled quite frequently to start after 7 p.m. The corporate office is next to the warehouse in an older part of town - security guards in the parking lot, sketchy neighborhood surrounds the area - walking out to your car after working late, with police helicopters overhead searching the area for a felon, or the adjacent street cordoned off by LAPD due to a shooting, is not a comforting feeling. There are plans to move the offices next year sometime. The change in sr. leadership has led to confusion in actual direction to be taken. The new CEO is smart and knowledgeable, but is a micro-manager, so moving forward on a timely basis just isn't possible.

    Pros

Hard working people in the stores. Good people in the office to work with. Getting paid every week. Potential……

    Cons

Management....top leadership is really lacking. Very little in terms of communication or direction. Dysfunctional They do not understand performance management or how to train and develop talent. If you meet someone at the company with good skill sets, they acquired those skills from somewhere else. High turnover. They do not track it. Clear objectives are tough to come by for performance reviews. You will likely not grow professionally. Short sighted in decision making for both people and the business in general. Poor use of resources.

    Advice to Management

Wow not sure where to start. I would love to see the people working there give the VP level and above a 360 review. I imagine that it would suggest to start over. That would be a good first step.

    Pros

Great co-workes and decent employee discount.

    Cons

Poor pay rates, under industry standard as well as rats, mice, cockroaches and feral cats. They often hire people with obvious gang ties. Parking lot vandalism, aspestos, propane exhaust dust, theft, bugs, leaking ceilings, and improper working enviroments. Once came to work and there was mutilated dead kittens in the parking lot next to the employee entrance.

    Advice to Management

Put some money in the business.
