I have been working at A Plus Home Healthcare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Short infrequent work. Older long term employee nurses are helpful and kind. Younger employees with integrity.

    Cons

Home health office has payroll problems and unprofessional managing of staff by the office. Poor work environment allowing intimidation and nowhere near a community of caring that is found with nurses. Backstabbing is accepted occurring with seasoned staff who are allowed to behave in this manner. The unbecoming a nurse manager manipulates unsuspecting upper management to accomplish tasks positioning herself favorably at the sake of others and presents a relentless condescending demeanor fueled by insecurities after an abrupt return to the company from another agency and will protect herself at all costs.

    Advice to Management

Clean your house from the top down as one bad apple jeopardizes the good work of many. Do not rely on one person to dictate when you are unaware of their motive. Also, incorporate zero tolerance for gossip and bullying. Lead by example and instill a professional culture.

I have been working at A Plus Home Healthcare part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They match you with a client that you will work with. They match you with a client that will workout.

    Cons

You don't get a lot of hours at first and most of the time you have to find your own clientele

    Advice to Management

Have a little bit more of description on the client and let the workers know everything, good or bad.

    Pros

The purpose of this company is to mainly provide specialized home nursing services for children who would otherwise need to be hospitalized or live in an institution; by working at this company you feel like you are really helping these children.

    Cons

Company is privately owned by a son and his mother, who also own other companies. They borrow back and forth from each of the companies in order to meet business expenses and in order to build up the other companies, leaving the employees wondering how long the company can continue to do this.

    Advice to Management

Foul language is not acceptable when talking with or talking to your employees, even when you are frustrated with your own personal situations or your business situations.
