Pros
Top Benefits, centrally located, top pay many company perks, and bonus.
Cons
There are days you work long late hours; no summer Fridays; before the merger with Lifetime senior management was kept on for years; can be a bit of a "Boys Club". The Lifetime merger shook up the company; lots of good people were let go. Out with the old and in with a new younger crop of employees.

its like working in a frat house the way some complacent people behave. Too many people get stuck in the same position for a decade.

Nurture the middle level better....the good ones leave since they know they cannot move up.

The health benefits are pretty good, and decent vacation days. People are friendly and there is a good vibe, though the transition has made a few things a little challenging. Good work/life balance.

It can be a little difficult to climb the corporate ladder, and get recognition if you're not in upper management.

Overall things don't seem to be too bad, morale has improved in the past few months and it's still a fun place to work.

-Good work environment: it is relaxed and management (both mid-level and upper-level) have an open door policy. You have access to people

-It is a well-run machine. That being said, there is little room to advance. You end up staying in your role with the same title for a while. You can take on more work and more responsibility but you won't get paid for it.
Advice to Senior Management
Overall, senior management is doing a good job and their leadership has lead to results for the network. Morale does not seem low but they could have more permanent hires - the number of freelancers makes you think everyone is disposable, when they're really integral members of the team.
Pros
Great benefits package and perks (of course, even better perks when we're not in the middle of a recession). They encourage you to learn as much as possible while you're there, and often recognize a job well done.
Cons
A lot of positions are overtime exempt....and those people usually work more than 40 hours a week. Bring back overtime!!
Advice to Senior Management
As I said earlier, BRING BACK OVERTIME!! Lots of people get burnt out on all of the extra hours that they put in for the company.
Pros
Offers some of the best benefits (health, 401k, pension plan, tuition reimbursement, etc.) Great product/brand you can be proud to say you work for.
Cons
Sr. management support is severly non-existent unless you are in the "clique". Communication is one sided and not consistent. Management has no clue what some departments/business units actually do to keep the business running nor do they express any interest in learning. They often take employees/jobs for granted. Employee recognition barely exists. Achievements at middle management level or below go unrecognized.
Advice to Senior Management
Take the time to learn exactly what each business unit does and how the operate. Spend a day with them and see what they go through to keep company humming. Provide relevant freguent feedback. School Sr. Management in proper people skills and management training 101.
